Tic-tac-toe is a two-player game in which players take turns marking the spaces in a three-by-three grid with an X or an O.
Tic-tac-toe is played on a three-by-three-square grid. You are X, while your friend or computer is O. Each player takes turns placing their mark in an empty square. The player who successfully places three of their marks in a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal row wins. The game ends when all nine squares are filled.
